Best-in-class safety features.

With best-in-class advanced driver-assistance systems and an active safety package with a range of innovative features, STARIA Van delivers even more peace of mind. STARIA offers an option to add as many as six airbags, and all seats come with three-point seat belts and headrests.

  1. Lane Following Assist (LFA).

    The STARIA features Lane Following Assist (LFA). When activated, it keeps the car centred in its lane at speeds between 0 and 180 km/h on motorways and city streets.

  2. Blind-Spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA).

    Using two radar sensors in the lower rear bumper, BCA warns you of traffic in the blind spot area. Should you set the turn signal in such a situation, it will warn you and brake to prevent a collision.

  3. Highway Driving Assist (HDA).

    Keeps you centred in your lane and traveling at a safe distance behind the car ahead when Smart Cruise Control or Lane Following Assist is active. It can also set the legal speed based on GPS and highway data.

    When reversing out of areas with low visibility, the system not only warns you if vehicles approach from the side – it also applies the brakes automatically.

    The FCA system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead or detects pedestrians or cyclists in your path.

    Now you can see the rearward left- and right-hand side views of the STARIA on a screen in the digital cluster. The cameras are activated by the use of the turn indicator during lane changes.

    SEA prevents the door from opening in a situation where a passenger attempts to open the power sliding door while a rear-side vehicle is approaching.

      Highly efficient diesel powertrain.

      For excellent performance and fuel efficiency, the STARIA Van is equipped with an improved 2.2-litre VGT diesel engine, paired with a choice of a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. Delivering an estimated power output of 177 PS and 430 Nm of torque, it features an improved high efficiency turbo charger for better torque in low-speed performance.
